Whole Wheat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Servings: 18 Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup soft butter 110g
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 260 g whole wheat Einkorn flour sifting is optional
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Mix sugar and butter.
  2. Add egg and vanilla and mix until creamy and smooth.
  3. Mix, flour, baking soda, and salt into a separate bowl. Then add to wet mixture
  4. Bake at 350° for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Makes 15-20 cookies.
Tip: For fluffy cookies, press dough into a flat square wrapped in plastic wrap and put into the freezer for 20 minutes (while the oven preheats). When you are ready to bake, cut them into 1 inch squares.
